I am enthusiastic about empowering community members to make positive changes in their lives. I am knowledgeable about different communities in London due to my language background (French and Spanish) and various paid and unpaid roles held in the Voluntary Sector including:
• Trustee – management committees
• Advisor – government committees
• Mentor – disadvantaged groups
• Advocate – against injustices by the Police
• Educator – Emancipatory literacy, numeracy, and ESOL
I am an avid reader of politics, psychology, sociology and history. I participate in cultural events which contextualise oral histories related to my genealogical research. I am passionate about creating memories for the younger generations through archival materials.
