Gentrification walking tour of Peckham highlights the spaces occupied by the Black community over a significant period.
The pinnacle of the walking tour is identifying some of the educational, recreational and cultural spaces which has shaped social and cultural capital over a defined period of Peckham’s history. Each black heritage landmark has been thoroughly researched through a range of mediums, their intriguing history and impact on the economic, social and cultural capital of Peckham.
The Peckham gentrification walk lasts for about 1.5 hours and comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
